MA’s Rabbitry travelled to Alexandria, Louisiana to participate in the LRBA Cajun Classic held May 24-25, 2019. The CLRBA also hosted a rare breed specialty!
It was great to visit with my fellow breeders, and discuss chin things. Things we’re working on, things we’re seeing improvement on, things we can do to ease our workload, and ways we can improve our herds. A lot of teamwork goes with this breed, shuffling rabbits to, from, on and off the tables, evaluating each other’s stock, asking/offering advice, sharing what works (and what doesn’t), and helping others determine strong and weak points. We sincerely cheer each other on, and share the joy no matter who wins. We are always learning from each other. It’s a great family to belong to!
Here are the show results for Giant Chinchilla rabbits.
(Photos were taken the end of the second day, and the rabbits were ready to leave (impatient), so you’ll see a couple of duplicate pics for those who won multiple times.)
